Escape industries was originally a small start up company looking into whether it was possible to make space launches carbon negative. Though they have not got to the point where their dream has been realised, they have designed a large range of motors which can be powered entirely through the use of various biofuels. The motors themselves are not as powerful as mainstream engines; they are finding popularity in remote towns and villages where travelling long distances is not a normal requirement. Biofuel engines cost roughly 10% more than a conventional engine of the same type, however the ability to produce fuel for them remotely, makes them a good choice for self sustaining communities.
